As a child growing up in a creative family, my interest in all aspects of design was inevitable. Yet over the years it is my fascination specifically with interior design and decoration which has developed and grown.
After studying at Surrey Institute of Art and Design I moved to Winchester to complete my degree in English Literature and worked throughout that time at The Hambledon, an award winning lifestyle shop and spent many happy years there being inspired by the buyers, suppliers and loyal customers.
Upon moving to London I immediately applied for work at Designers Guild’s flagship store in Chelsea where I learnt more about colours, fabrics and furniture and how to assist our clients with decorating and furnishing their homes.
In 2006 I created my online vintage store which gave me the excuse to travel to some wonderful flea markets in Europe for inspiration and unique stock. My personal style is eclectic, I have always loved antique and vintage pieces which my own home is testament to. Despite my penchant for vintage, nowadays my appreciation for contemporary furtniture and design is just as strong.
I am currently studying for Post Graduate Diploma in Interior Design whilst working on various projects in London and Surrey where I am based. My mother has been successfully running her handmade soft furnishing business for over 30 years and more recently we have joined forces to provide an interior consultancy and bespoke making up service.
